The landing page for all things Bucket List
Lots of people don’t click on these landing pages; they skip over them and go straight onto the menu or a post that takes their fancy.
You, however, will now have some exciting background that they won’t, so well done to you. Now you will be able to find all things bucket list!
The basic idea behind this menu is that it is where I will store and list all of the exciting adventures I have via my various Bucket Lists, as well as adding any tips and ideas related to writing, curating and expanding your own lists.
As I am also working on my ‘Bucket List’ book, once I have written it – and my course! – you will find the links here.
Think of it as a menu, within a menu to help you find all things Bucket List, here at Polly’s Pad.
If nothing else, it will save you from scrolling through the blog posts and pages.

An Autumn Bucket List
The 40×40
The OG of my lists, this was the first, and is, as yet, uncompleted.
It was slightly ambitious to try and complete some of the things in one year, but I am still going and I have ticked off even more things in the last few years.
Rather than list them all again on this page, I will redirect to the actual 40×40 list.
The list itself has links to all of the completed tasks – and links to some uncompleted ones too, and is, therefore, a continual work in progress, until I eventually complete it.
The Kettle List
This is going to be a bit of a web! You see, the Kettle List contains tasks, which are themselves made up of a combination of more tasks.
For example
#38 Volunteer for 50 hours,
#43 Complete the National Trusts ’50 things to do before 11 3/4′ or
#40 Make 1,000 Origami Cranes
The easiest way to find these is to type in a keyword in the search bar or to check out the list and click on the items there. I will be adding articles and updates as I complete the tasks – which should keep us ticking over until at least 2027!
The Bristol Bucket List
I decided it would be fun to revisit my hometown through the magic of, well, Bucket Lists, obviously!
This list can be found here – and is very much a work in progress.
My plan is to focus on a few of the items each year to get them done.
2019: I have finally visited the Wildplace, and attended Harbour Fest.
2020: I am looking forward to Upfest and finding a great coffee shop (Although this is going to prove harder than I thought, what with a global pandemic and a national lockdown!)
2021: Still struggling to get out and about in the city, but I might manage something by the end of the year.
2023: Visited the Arnolfini – at last! Discovered the Dareshack, which has some amazing coffee.
Be sure to check out the other posts on this menu, or throughout the blog – maybe they will inspire you to add a few things to your own Bucket List
